Hold up, mates. It's supposed to be about the toys, right? We're starting to get cartoon questions!
-
I say we include the original cartoon run and original Marvel run of comics into this game. That's my 2 cents.
-

Roger that. I think that would be a good idea, too.
(If we do accept comics/cartoons, the thread's name could use an edit!)
-
I agree sunbow Cartoons and the Marvel comic run should be included as they defined the Joe team as much as the toys.

The oldschool Han Solo figure had an oversized head, kinda like the original Wild Bill figure. I think.
-
I'm sorry, I don't even know what this means. Also I think it's more Star Wars than Joe...
- R
Yeah you're right Rap, leaving "Star Wars" reference aside, the question should've been more like this:
Q: Name the first figure that got an important head resculpt throughout its first original release.
-
Was Akpayne right in his answer of Zarana? If so ask a new question Akpayne.
-
Was Akpayne right in his answer of Zarana? If so ask a new question Akpayne.
Yeah Akpayne was right. Sorry guys If I didn't clear that up. It should therefore be Akpayne's turn to ask a question.
-
I can't think of a good question so... I will ask a not so good one.

Q: What early comic character never made it past Marvel issue 19 and was never made into an action figure?
-
Burgess Merideth
Whose file name contains veiled/reversed racial slur?
While I am interested personally in hearing the answer to this, I will remind people that the answer to this question might really skirt the rules of the board, and might result in saying something inappropriate to the board. I suggest that maybe Kronz select another question to prevent the thread from going off course
Edit: and since I missed that someone already answered this, and we're on to something else, we'll let this one lie.

-
In the Marvel comic book, which 4 Joes were thrown into the Gulag when their mission went sour?
There were only 3 Joes thrown in the Gulag. Outback left the others behind under Stalkers' orders.
-

Aha! Nice one! You're absolutely right, he managed to escape from the street sewers... My bad, sorry guys. :-[
-
In answer to you question Grunt, yes Doc was shot first by the saw viper. Going by ultimate guide to Gijoe Airtight is still active. And Barbeque is a reserve. These two characters were not killed at all from 82-94 anyway.
-
So who is up on deck with the next question? Sureshot or Grunt. I suggest Sureshot.
Scramble had the right answer to my question.
-

-
A: Sears exclusive Cobra Msv and Consumer Distributing exclusive Cobra Tank
Q: Whos File card states,
"Attended the Navel War Collage in Newport RI. and the Armed Forces Collage"
No one, because a Navel is a belly button, and a collage is a bunch of pictures stuck together. I am reasonably sure that looking a a bunch of pictures of fighting belly buttons stuck together with glue is not going to get you on the Joe team.
However if you meant Naval and College - you're talking about Keel-Haul.
Q. Who, from his file card, likes his food like he likes his enemies - Frozen!
-
Yes that is what i ment lol my bad
-
Well Raptor, i think we all give up its been three days. Time for answer and new question. lol
-
A. Iceburg. http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/97/iceberg3.shtml (http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/97/iceberg3.shtml)
Q. How many Drednok Figures (including Zartan's extended family but excluding the con set) do NOT have a figure with an uncovered belly button.
-
What's with the navel/naval threads???!!!
If we're talking pre-2000, I'm gonna go 1: Buzzer. Though I don't think any actually former umbilical cords are visible, there's a whole lotta abs and tummy.
(After 2000 there were versions of Zartan and others that were more conservatively attired.)
I'm not sure so I'll wait for confirmation.
-
What an odd question...
-
What's with the navel/naval threads???!!!
1: Buzzer.
Correct. Only one drednok out of all of them (before the con set) has his belly button covered.
Dodge got me thinking about how to do a joe belly button question. ;D
-
I'm up....
How many Joes (up to and incl 94) had removable visors? Swivel/Straight-arm only count once....

Q: Which Joe and which Cobra were the first variant figures? What were the variants? I do not mean SA/SW.
Tripwire, he had different rank markings on his arms.
Cobra Commander, he had the 'Mickey Mouse' Cobra logo.
-
The cobra one was right. I was thinking of an earlier joe with more of an accessory variant.
-
The cobra one was right. I was thinking of an earlier joe with more of an accessory variant.
Do you mean Zap and his 3 different bazookas?
-
Short Fuze can be found with one of two different mortars too, I think.
-
What one for the Gijoes were you thinking of. The 82 Stalker has camo variation. 82 Zap 3 different bazookas, and 83 Duke has 2 different helmets, one with holes one without.
-
I was thinking of Zap with the bazookas.
-
hey snake eyes your up for a question on here you got the last one right

Okay, question time! The A.W.E. Striker was retooled and released as part of which movie tie-in line?
-
A: Stargate.
Q: Which Joe delivered the most lines of dialogue on the Sunbow animated series?
-
I was almost going to say Duke, but I will go with:
Shipwreck?
-
Flint?
-
Any other guesses? The site that lists how many lines each character spoke is down right now.
I can say that the character with the most dialogue is Cobra Commander, but the Joe with the most dialogue might surprise you.
-
Is it Scarlett?
-
Close. It's Lady Jaye.
-
They moved here: http://www.halfbattle.com/ (http://http://www.halfbattle.com/)

BONUS Q: How many of the items in Premium offer booklet #1 did my brother and I own? You don't have to get this one to ask the next one.

I'll accept Scrap Iron. I forgot about him. I was going for normal regular pistol, which would be Zartan
-
OK I'll try and get the next one right. The whole pistol versus hand gun thing threw me off.
Is the answer for the Premium Booklet #1 blue and white?
It seems like hooded cobra commander was listed on this one. So what was the offer with battle helmet cobra commander called? I know I must have had one of these as a kid, since that is how I got my cobra commander.
-
I never heard if I got Sureshot's question right.
-
