Why wasn't this released sooner!!??!! 

This makes even the accelerator suits seem passable.

I'm glad that it has at least some good humor in it, maybe it's what we need to light out darkest hour...

I don't know, I think this will be movie really about action and explosions, the plot seems about as good as the original 80's cartoon episodes. I'm going to watch it and just watch it on its own merits as its own movie.

Hey---

I just thought of something: What if the trailer was really meant to disappoint some Gi joe fans at first, but only to give them the thrills of their life at the Theaters!

My point is, imagine that the accelerator suit concept is a gig in itself and they actually really show them for the first 10 minutes of the story. But imagine that 5 minutes into using them, Gi joe and whoever came up with this crazy suit idea, realize that Cobra moves too damn slow and these suits prove too damn overpowerly useless, now how funny would that be?

And Ta-da! You never see them again in the rest of the movie - cheap magic at its best.

Okay 'nuff said for today about the movie  :cobra:

I'm still worried it is too off beat from the Joes I love and after reading the Bio on the back of Destro's figure; stating his mask is a result of his skin changing because of nanomite surgery from being burnt, it leads me to believe that an early skrip I read may be the one they went with where Duke, Cobra Commander and the Baroness were friends and CC goes crazy after a lab accident.  Hence the deformed CC figure we see.
I'll still see the movie,  who knows I did kind of like the Sigma Six spin at the time.
