Title: TRU offers 30% rebate on GI Joe products until July 23rd

That's $7 per figure.

Post by: Oreobuilder on July 10, 2009, 02:42:11 PM: Just got back from TRU. Picked up a couple Stones, Desert Dukes and more Zartans for customs. I had no problem getting them to refund the difference from the Joes I bought last week at 9.99$.

I also did the same thing with the Joes I bought at Zellers the over the last two weeks. I simply needed to bring in the TRU flyer and my bills. They refunded the difference. I didn't know that Zellers price-matched. Obviously, I spent that cash on Joes at TRU ;D

Also went to Walmart, they had the Paris Pursuit wave. PP Snake Eyes is incredible! All the RoC Joes I've bought so far are for customs except him. He's going on the shelf as is. I also got a couple of Reactive Armour Dukes. I was going to pick up a Cobra Commander but passed.

As for Shipwreck. WOW!!! What a great figure, with great accessories. If the majority of the line were like him, it would be a no brainer. However a lot of the "screen" figures just don't do it for me.

Same here. I've not heard any sightings of this wave at Toys'R'Us. They also have a tendency to massively over order the first wave and then not getting anything different for a long time.

I left work without checking the forum so I went to TRU.
I didn't care to go to Wally, I guess I should have to get PP SE and some other figures.

Is Wally near Anjou well filled with figures or do they have one case?

The local Walmart in St-Leonard ( Montreal ) was a bit reluctant to give me a refund just because it doesn't specify that they are ROC figures that are on special anywhere on the ToysRus flyer and the salespeople don't know anything about Gi joe...Anyhow they gave it to me but it took 10 minutes.
