Title: Are there any Canucks that are Members of the GIJCC?

Hi guys,

I'm a trooper level (free) member of the GIJCC (GIJoe Collector's Club). Basically, all I get are emails a few times a year. I got one tonight with a bunch of Labour-day specials at the club store and that has me debating whether to upgrade to Officer level membership. I checked the cost and I'm a little confused. It offers me 3 choices:

Third Class mail: 42$
First Class Mail: 42$
Canada Airmail: 63$

As a canuck, do I have to go with the third (most expensive) option?

Yes, you would have to pay $63.00 (USD)

BTW, shipping with the MC club is very expensive.

HasbroToyShop Expensive.

I've been a paying member for 6 years now and am seriously debating renewing.
I've found the newsletter is more Hasbro promo than anything.  Not worth $63
The JoeCanuck newsletter is free and far superior.  And I'm not just saying that because I like the JoeCanuck guys.  Because I do like the JoeClub guys as well but I feel they are becoming too commercial for the average collector.

Darn, I'm sorry to hear that. I was thinking of upgrading my membership to have access to the Adventure Team stuff as well. I guess I'll wait and see when it comes out.

That's exactly what I'll do too.
I'll only upgrade to Officer level when the AT figures will be available and ready to be shipped to me.
So many delays happened with the Club's projects for me to take their word on a late 2009 delivery.
