Title: Looking for 25th anniversaru figures in the hamilton area
Post by: Radio Guy on October 21, 2009, 09:16:59 PM
hey there!

i got my kid into watching the new dvd's from shout factory, and shortsightedly, did not collect any 25th anniversary figs...now he wants the characters he sees on the cartoon (Cobra Commander, Destro, Duke, etc, ) but all I can find at Walmart and the like are Rise of Cobra figs.  He plans to ask Santa for a bunch, and was wondering if you knew of any stores still stocking them...let me know and thanks!

Check the toy store on the upper level in Limeridge mall - I think it's called Mind Games. They were clearing out a bunch last I was there a few weeks back.

Also, Winners had some stock recently, as did Giant Tiger. Might be worth checking them out.

Failing that, Big B Comics on Upper James still had some 25th stuff. Probably more pricey, but it's worth it as a local last resort.

thanks for the tips...i was in big b today, and they had some figs, but at $11.99 each (and $54 for the 5 fig packs), i was hoping to get them cheaper.  i will all the places you mentioned this weekend!  thanks again!

Yeah, but shipping is usually pretty killer from BBTS -and 9 times out of 10 you get dinged by customs.

Woodstock Toy Show this weekend Radio Guy. There might be some there - but I have no clue about pricing.

Or try Jeff (Kool Stuff) I don't know if he has any, but it's in Hamilton and not that far from your work.

Did you try Conspiracy Comics - it's near Comic Connection.
