Winners now has the MARS 3 pack down to $10. Picked up 2 at the Guelph store, left one.
If you were interested in the pack, $3.33 a figure is a reasonable price.

-
Good troop builder value!
-
I picked up the 3 pack set at the Winners at the Seaway Mall (Welland), they had 1 set left. They also had the PIT - I think the price was $50
-
I had Zellers price match this set for me when I found a set at Walmart for $8.00 a while ago. I ended up with 10 sets. At first it was fun but that is the main reason I've become sour to the MARS body mold. Seen it too many times now.
Still, $10.00 is a good price.
-
I was at the Winners at Markville Mall (Markham) and I only found the PIT there for $74. Other posts say they found the PIT for $36 to $50, did they have another discount or were they marked that low? The only other thing they had was the GI Joe digital camera headband for $25.
-
The $39 ones were at Dixie Value Mall in TO, and had a $39 sticker on it.
- :chicken:

I was at the Winners at McCowan and 401 and found GI Joe pretend Cell Phone of Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow for $5. I know this is not a figure or vehicle but it is sure fun to play with. It has been passed around my co-workers as they love it too... I hope my son with leave my Blackberry alone now when I give this to him.

GI Joe pretend Cell Phone of Snake Eyes
Does anyone else love the irony of using a mute character to brand a cell phone?
They should have branded it with Ripcord. That dude would not stop talking.

Awhile back i found the PIT at the Oshawa Winners for 25$ and the MARS sets for 3$ I grabbed what they had. my guess is that they cleared them out so cheap as they are moving the store to a new location. My son is having a ball with the PIT.... I think its pretty cool, just a little flimsy when opened up!
-
I loved the Snake Eyes phone so much I had to buy the Storm Shadow phone, I ment to say my son loved the phone so much.
What sucks is that they both have the same recorded messages! I was hoping for it to be a true Cobra phone.
-
I found the PIT for $50 at the Winners at McCowan and the 401. The box is damaged but not sure if it missing any parts. I checked other Winners but they still have them at $74.
-
The winners at Niagara Square had some rise of cobra figures - nothing special. They also had those large Duke in the accelerator suit for around $16.99
As a side note they had some avatar vechiles for around $17. Does anyone know if gi joe figures will fit in/on the avatar vechiles?

Not very well. Some of the smaller ROC figures do.

thanks

The 25th ann. figures will fit as well, there is thread that was done earlier in this form, about the Avatar Helicopter. I will look for it in a minute and let you know.

Was at Winners in Stouffville and they had the Terminator Salvation figures for .60 cents each! Needless to say I bought everyone :shifty:
-
Damn. I didn't know that Winners sold toys.
Well, I do now. heehee

I'm not trying to get into religion as I know that is a no subject zone, but do you realize that the Lion is suppose to represent Jesus?
Not that is matters. It's a toy and and sure millions of children out there use the toy as a lion and nothing more.

REALLY? Wow, I have not read the books or seen the movie, so I did not know. I just saw the lion and the first thing that popped in my head was the arena of sport. This was the first animal I saw that had posable limbs.

Every time I go to a Winners toy section (which has become rare as the Maple Leafs winning a playoff game lately when the wife is around), it's like a bomb went off. Stuff is just all over place. But I did notice the winners down by Laird and Eglinton had a Flint in Cobra Disguise last time I was there a few weeks ago. I occasionally find the Argentina looking Scarlett's as well.

I agree. Last time I went was just before Christmas at the new one beside Walmart (Pharmacy/Eglinton). It was a disaster zone, but I did find two 25th Eels for $5 each. Actually, $5 and $6, but when I asked why the exact same item was 2 different prices, they reduced the second one after saying that the arrived at different times, like that makes it ok to charge different prices?! It isn't a perishable item and you are trying to clear it out before it goes bad!!!
Oh, and bupkiss at the Walmart there today!!

I saw the same thing at a Marshals in Florida. They had a rack of Joe figures with one price and a table of the exact same Joe figures for another price. I got the same cockamamie answer after asking if they just hadn't been marked down yet.
-
The Winners here in the Durham area are the same.... except im sure they all hit the shelf (floor/hook/where ever they throw it!) at the same time!
-
Hey garling23,
Love your Avatar! Did you make the custom or found it in the Net?
-

Very Nice! I hope you will post in the Custom section when you are done so I can see bigger pics of it.
-
speeking of steel crusher, does anyone still see them kicking around? Im looking for a cheep one, and does winners still have the mars 3pks?
-
yes i will post better pics when its all done in the custom section for sure.
i have not seem them at retail around my area for awhile, i know the oshawa winners had a few before christmas. oddly enough, i picked up one at value village (used for $1.99) missing the rockets and the stickers were put in odd places lol. I have been finding the odd joe items at value villages lately. Mostly ROC stuff, but I did find a mobat a few months back!

Last one I saw was at a TRU Express and it was still at full price so I passed on it. Kind of wish I didn't it was one vehicle I didn't pick up initially but wanted one.
-
does winners still have the mars 3pks?
Nope, but you can get them at TRU for $6.98 or HTS.com for $6.99.
Walmart still has them for $20 ::)

Damn... That is great price, but nothing beats the $1.90 at TRU that one day.

Ah yes, I remember it well. I managed to snag 4 sets that day. Now I have a baggie full of MARS figures for no reason.
