Wow. What one HELL of a hockey game. I don't know about the sun shining on a dog's ass... ;D I would just call that one absolute hell of a game. My hat's off and a raised beer to the Canadians for winning the gold, and I also tip my hat and raise my beer in a salute to my Team USA, for taking the best hockey team in the world to OT. Congrats to my (probably very happy) Canadian friends, and I hope the ribbing doesn't go too far ;D

A great game by both sides to be sure. The Canucks played fast - the way they should.
-
Yeah!!!!! It was a great game!
-
Very classy and very nice of my Canadian friends for acknowledging Ryan Miller's game. Much appreciated. :)
-
completely missed it myself. Oops. :(

You couldn't have scripted this heart attack of a game any better. This was a epic game. It will go down in Canadian hockey history. It will go down in Canadian Olympic history.
I am still on cloud 9.

^^ This
WHAT a game.
Ryan Miller is an incredible goalie, and I am happy the audience showed him that they agreed.
Wow. We're going to see replays of that Crosby OT goal for years to come
-
Awesome game! Both goalies were standing on their heads, both teams played great hockey. Being a maritimer it was sooo great to see Sid the Kid score the winning goal though! I'm still vibrating.
-
I was watching it at a pizza place. When the US went down 2 to 0 to Canada's suffocating defense, we left. Good thing we listened to it in the car or else we would have missed one hell of a game. so good we watched the DVR when we got back home.

While Mario Lemieux's goal was huge against the Soviets in '87, Crosby's goal has become new Paul Henderson goal of our generation. It will be replayed for generations to come.

Sportsmanship. That's how you earn Timbits.

No ribbing. I'll just bring back that quote in the future if reminders are needed.

Now place your bets if we'll see a movie based on this or not. I sort of doubt it, but it would make one hell of a film.

Did we get a film when we whupped the US 5-2 in 2002?

Home soil, overtime, Sid the Kid game winner, to take the record for golds in one Olympics. This one has it all.

Had it all except the underdog US pulling out a miracle win ;D

Besides, they already made THAT movie.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Thanks, guys, I needed that. I had kind of a rough day at work, and came home kind of bummed. But when I saw that I had -999 Timbits it made me explode into laughter. I laughed for a good two minutes straight.
All I know is that that is a LOT of reviews to write to make up the difference...I guess I'm gonna be writing for the next 5 years or so. And I hope Hasbro keeps releasing new Joe product!

Man, if this board had awards for best at being able to take a joke, then the award goes to Olyeller01. Dude, I'm glad you joined our board. ;D
-
I gave a timbit his way, but I am thinking that even if all of the users here gave him one timbit he would still be very far into the negative! painfully funny stuff.
-
Wow,somebody must have given him a Tim Horton's store as his -1000 is back to +7

-
Whoo hoo! *sings* I'm in the Timbits, I'm in the Timbits...
Morg, I'm glad you appreciate my good spiritedness. I know it's all in good fun, that's why I couldn't resist the crack about the US winning. And I really did burst into laughter when I saw I had -1000!
Raptor, thank you very much for restoring me to The Land of Positive Timbits, especially with the effort that had to take.
Mike, sorry Raptor spoiled your fun. I'd make some other crack here, but I want to stay in the black on Timbits for 24 hours at least ;D
-
I'd make some other crack here...
At first, I thought you were calling Timbits Canadian crack.
-
+8 Timbits, Olyeller is back on track or crack or whatever and putting back some pounds Woo-hoo!
