Title: Crossing the Line

For those who don't want to click and read, I'll summarize here.  The US military is looking to cut back on some nonessential comfort items at its main Afghan bases.  These include mini Burger Kings, Pizza Huts & even a TGI Fridays.  However, some things just can't be taken away.  I quote:

"A motley crew of other stores selling Afghan books, jewelry and phone cards and the busy Canadian Tim Horton's outlet that sells coffee and doughnuts will stay on."

THEY MAY TAKE OUR LIVES, BUT THEY'LL NEVER TAKE - - OUR TIMBITS!!!!!

Some people already said: If Canadians were the first one on the moon, it's not a Canadian flag that would be there, but a Tim Horton!  :)

Olyeller you joker! Now because of you, my recollection of the ending of Braveheart is all messed up. I'm talking about the part where William Wallace is on the butcher's table and he can only scream: TIMBIIIIIITS!!!

See what I mean?!!! It's all because of you LOL!!!

hhhhmmmmm  Oh well I guess they need to feel like they are at home. Don't get me wrong I respect soldiers for what they do but I wouldn't eat that crap if I were getting shot at! I'd lose my breath while running for cover.

CF :cobra: ) getting fat on the offerings.

And why WOULDN'T they have a Tim Hortons, if Canadian troops are part of the force?  Would Canadians even fight without Timbits to fuel them?  ;D

LOL

Kinda like our police forces, you can tell who the new rookies are because they are in shape.  Then they start getting into the Tim's for their free coffee and donuts and get fat.
