This is my feeble attempt at customizing the Rockslide. I painted the skis a darker grey and tried to add a dusting of snow. The missiles were also painted. I gave the interior a try and it's sloppy but I had fun trying.
This was what it looked like before I started.

Not bad at all.

Your customs look more professional than the original :)
Since you painted the missiles, can you still play with it? I mean, is it chip proof? This is my main problem with customs... I can't play with them anymore without damaging the paint...

A good improvement over the original. Good work Recon.

Thanks for the comments. It really is a bit sloppy but only way to get better is to keep trying.
Martin, I totally agree. But, the great thing about paint is that if it chips, you get to paint it all over again  No young kids around to play with these but I do take everything out of the box/package. Someday the grandkids are really going to have a ball!
Thanks again all.
Cheers,

Best argument I heard in all day. Unlike some, I never play with my customs but it's going to be the second time I repaint my custom Backstop, I wonder why ;D 'Nuff said

Big improvement over the original.
Nice job.
Feeble is definitely not the adjective that would come to my mind...
