So I took out my Batman Black and White statues I bought at the Joe con and there were price stickers on the bases. I slowly peeled them off pretty successfully but one left the base with that sticky residue. Does anyone have any good tips on how to remove this without damaging the base?

I use a product called ''Tape Off''..

Lighter Fluid

Are you serious? Can I use it on my ex gf??

i use ronsonol lighter fluid, works great.

Goo Gone is OlYeller approved. It'll remove stocker residue like nobodys business without harming delicate plastic. It's what I use when restickering vintage vehicles for my reviews ;D

1000% agree.
Looking at a bottle right now. It says:
"RONSONOL
LIGHTER FUEL
Also excellent for removing grease, Oil Stains, Tar & Labels"
I use it all the time on thermal printers when I'm cleaning the paper path, thus I have about 6 bottles at work.

i have a few bottles to, but i use it for my zippo mostly, and those pesky labels block buster puts on previewed movies.

Could the stuff be used to get labels off of carded or boxed items or would it mess them up? I've been using rubbing alcohol and elbow grease.

Destroy Unicron, kill the grand Buba, eliminate even the toughest stain...

I wouldn't use lighter fluid, but Goo Gone would probably work. Of course, test it in an inconspicuous area or on a box you don't care about first...hard to predict what petroleum distillates will do to paper...

I use to work in a comic store and we used lighter fluid on packages to remove price tags all the time. Never caused an issue.

I would of course defer to Morg's judgement on this. I tried several different products before I settled on Goo-Gone as my product of choice. Whatever you use, if you're using it on plastic make sure it doesn't have xylol/xylene in it, or it'll eat your plastic. And Neo, in the Wal-Marts down here GG is in the paint section.
