Just got this in the mail today from Amazon, which totally surprised me since it was released today. Anyhow, if you have an X Box you are in for a surprise. There is a cool playable demo of Star Wars Battle Front on the bonus DVD. I spent my lunch hour shooting Ewoks in the face. Can't beat that! Oh, did I mention I was on their side while shooting them.  :evil:

Anyhow, worth buying I think.

I am all over that game, it sounds pretty sweet. Although I am not into buying starwars figs, I am interested in all of the games out there that are in the star wars era. Cant wait for it to come out. gonna get it right away!!!

It should be out today, and if you don't want the speeder biker figure, I'll take it.  :D

If you do get that Star Wars game it's awesome. I played that demo level that comes with the DVD's for 1 1/2 hours last night. I have never had that much fun playing a Star Wars game, ever!
Lots of bots and they are pretty smart, except the bots on my team which kept "accidentally" shooting me in the back.

Cool thing about the Storm Troopers was their names. Things like "LJ 256" or "GT 641". I'm making up names, but you get the idea. All the rebels have real names like "Han Pobbels" or something odd like that.

I've never wanted to buy a Star Wars game before, but if I didn't have so many other things I need to buy (like a wheel barrel, yeay  :? ) then I would be all over this.

And Mike, you get a public "Booing", so Boooo!!!!  :D

OK! let the bidding war begin........ :wink:  just kidding!    sort of...

I am picking it up tonight. I would have got it yesterday but I had to work until 8pm...... :x  I will be getting it tonight (yeah!!!!!) hopefully I will get of on time today so that I can get home to play it.

I played it for a few hours today.

I don't like it.

Luckily a buddy of mine bought one when I did - but hasn't opened it so I can return his and he can have mine.

I had high hopes for it.
Played it 3 different ways and still didn't like it.

What was the price for the game? and where is the best place to get it.
Other wise I will just pick it up at toys r us on the way home.

I looked on line and Future shop said $59.99. Don't know the price at EB Games but I know they have the free figure (unless they sold out). Toys R Us usually costs a bit more than other places. Look in your phone book and give EB games a call.
Anyone know if the free figure is an EB games exclusive?

The game rocks!!!!!!!! Although it dident come with the figure, still a good game. it was around $60 at EB games, thanks for the hot tip on where to get it.

Shooting Ewoks, Driving an AT-AT (SWEET!!!!) well worth the price of the game. too bad it took this long for it to come out!
