Nice collection... I preffer to keep mine imprisoned in ziploc bags and locked away from Sunlight....
It's sucks when you can't display your collection >:(
-
....
-
Maybe I will display my Mole Pods... I leave them outside for people to take and they are still there.... ???
-
I've been on this board for 7 years and still cant figure out how to post a pic. Maybe once I did..........
-
I bag and box all my stuff too and don't display. Think its because originally I collected coins and comics which you both put in sleeves and away. I even make my own backing boards for my joes by cutting a comic board in 3 and use the cards to monitor what I payed to complete it. Plus it keeps weapons from bending and such while the figure is in an other bag so the weapons don't scratch the figure. I take as best as possible condition of my stuff. I have a friend that thinks its funny since he sees me buy something and then someone will go try and touch it be it a comic or joes and I am like don't touch. Even my LCS thinks I am strange since I come to pick up comics and once I pick one I even hold it so they can scan it in or until it is board and bagged lol. Got to keep those greasy fingers off.

Damn, now that is care...
Every now and then, I let my son handle the Joes and say this will be your collection when you grow up. He just throws them, he not ready yet...

One of my favorite set ever (I can't believe those were actually clogging the shelves at TRU way back in 1997)
And at $14.99!!!!!, I'd take a dozen of them now! ;D

What is that red fig (top line, 5th fig)? Is it a Crimson Strato Viper? :o
The 5th figure at the top row seems to be a Strato Viper. Note that the last figure bottom row to the right shares also Strato Viper's body.

alot of these figures were made using existing gi joe molds, so yes you will see joe parts in new colours, such as the memtioned strato viper, also darklon is their for sure, but i dont remember all molds used.

:D
it's got some minor paintwear, and the sticker on the rear is held on by tape, but it's overall pretty good nick...
it also starred in my first ever dio tale...
-
Damn, Sundance that is awesome!
-
yeah, a LOT of the BFTB guys were awestruck by it when i posted it over there... particularly one guy who loves obscure tie-in lines and hadn't seen it.
-
....
-
....
-
flippers? what the..?
-
flippers? what the..?
It does say "Brown Water Warriors" so it kinda goes... Then River Boat Commander
-
yeah, but why would a boat commander have flippers, but no SCUBA tanks or wet-suit?
-
ooo!! I do like the steeler very nice indeed and in an interesting baggie.
-
yeah, but why would a boat commander have flippers, but no SCUBA tanks or wet-suit?
I agree with Sundance about the flippers but I do prefer this redecoed version of Surefire to the one from Gi joe vs Cobra.
-
....
-
Sorry, the flippers might make more sense with the filecard but not at all with this figure...
If they ever do a Frogsuit version 2 of King Rat and give em runners instead of flippers...now that would only double the funny ;D
-
....
-
Nice, I love those bikes!
-
....
-
....
-
....

I was going to ask you if they are the Walmart bikes that are under $4. I wanted to buy them but I spent a fortune on those Adventure kits.
