Ron Rudat! Very nice! All sorts of giddy.
Interested to hear about pre-reg. Giggity!!!!
-
Great work on the Newsletter. I can't wait to try scupting when I get a chance... More great stuff for Kids, way to go!
-
Ron Dudat! All I can say is WOW. This convention has it all so far and I'm excited just to know I'm already there. Great job team CJC, this is going to be a great edition.
-
I am glad you are there too LJ!
Is John trying to sculpt a Cosmo?
Hopefully the offer to pre-reg for long time members is taken from a snapshot of today - before any post race starts (as I post 2 in this thread)..........

This is the BEST IDEA EVER!!!! I think I will need to post more to make sure I have enough posts ::) :P

Great job and I think it's great to have more kids content hopefully you are able to include it in every issue!
I did have trouble colouring within the lines though. :-

I had requested that there be a minimum amount of posts required before the pre-registration started.
Flooding posts now, after the news letter has gone live won't help anyone who is looking to secure a set and joined the board for that sole reason. It's the only fair way to do it, otherwise we would have a million members who make one post and then expect to be able to get on of the early bird sets.
I'm sure most of the usual people on this site will agree that's fair.
Remember, production has gone up this year by 25%, so anyone in the past who was maybe intimidated about the rumors the guys lining up at 12:00 am the night before to secure a set, they will have a better chance of getting a set this year.

I bet the people that pre-register will still line up! that was SOOO much fun last year!
I know I will still line up! Maybe not so early.

No one knows what the "minimum amount of posts" number is at this point anyway. And registration for new accounts on the site is locked, until after the 25 sets are pre-sold. I'll make a post about this later on.
-
But will there be another more limited exclusive like the SNAKE?

@ The Mike: When will we get to select the questions that we submitted for Zach Hoffman aka Zartan?
Can't wait to read his answers in an upcoming Newsletter that's why
-
1) Ron Rudat...awesome.
Wasn't his name lent to Dusty as a tribute...or something like that?
2) Also like the possibility of regulars getting an early crack at registration. I do enjoy the line-up though... I line up every year anyway, so I'm not worried. Would help some of the long distance guys and allow for more sleep... ;D
3) Double army builder....timbit given for responding to the fan requests!

NO. 100% without a shadow of a doubt - NO.
As I've stated MANY times. That SNAKE was supposed to be with the con set. Problems happened and we had 50 done. So, it became a bonus item.

You guys don't, we do. Questions already sent in.
-
Grunt:
You are correct. Both Mr. Rudat and Dusty share their first name. Dusty's surname is Tadur or Rudat backwards.

Great issue, I have really enjoyed the coloring pages from the last couple of issues  One of these years I will make a con, I know I'm missing out on a great time.
-
Mike you should make the free Timbits at the convention only available to people who bring a finished coloring picture. ;D Sticky tack them to the wall for display.

Great issue as always! I really enjoyed the review since I still don't have them in hands (ordered, but not yet received) :'(

Another great issue! Thanks for mentioning the pinups from the comics. I really enjoyed the Dossier pages, which were great ways to keep up with the characters. Reminds me of the "Top Secret" files from issue #1, too!
Thanks for the reviews. I guess I'm not missing out on much.
Have a great time at the con, guys!

Excellent articles! Really loved the pinups one. I guess you don't see that sort of thing as a bonus in regular issues since there are dedicated comics like Battle Files and Data Desk that use pinup style art with the text.
Ron Rudat... I can't wait to meet him! Now what do get him to sign? My Dusty filecard or my Leatherneck filecard? Decisions, decisions...
