I like it too!  It still needs a couple improvements but you guys are heading in the right track!

it's very.... red...

i like it, but you definitely need to make buttons for 'post reply' or something because i had to stare at the screen for a good 30 seconds to find the link...

And yes, the reply button was not an obvious button to find either.

It's in an odd place right now, but it's text so just Ctrl F "reply" and you'll find it. I agree, it's not where I would expect it, and I agree, the new colours look great. The board feels like home again.

I'm just getting back into the "Joe-Swing Of Things" so to speak right now. So, while you all have your red looking board back, I'll have to make changes to the script to enable a quote, buttons, and movement of the reply option.

It will take time - and I have my BHT site to update as well since I fell behind on that for nearly 4 months.

Don't be shocked if a completely new "red style" board shows up in the meantime.

The red theme is perhaps the most authentic way to go IMO, no matter how different you say that the board may look. I think that the temporary light blue color was the problem I had before with the site, because it only made it worse on my tired eyes after a long day's work.

Getting use to the new board, it does look nice.  Another important button that I cant seem to find is the Edit button.

I know... I tired of deleting a post and resubmitting it to fix my mistakes...

You can always copy and paste the section you want quoted for now and use the "Quote" tabs above to place it before and after the text you want posted.

copy it from the post, edit it and post it at the end of the thread.

i always jump to the newest post and hate having to go back to the original post when someone edits it and then says 'edited the OP'.... :shifty:

I'm at the opposite. I always prefer when someone edit his first post, that avoid going through all posts. And I think most of the people are keeping the first post up-to-date.

Anyway, I want my Edit button back... (please).

Agreed, quoting and editing are musts.  I didn't see the quote button, so I assumed I hadn't logged in.  I guess I'm real observant, eh?

how come there's \ marks in the forum titles and descriptions when ' appear?
