Huh. Looks like the rule on Timbits has changed and it's now unlimited Timbits and they renew in 1 hour, not 24 hours. Who wants a sugar high? ;)

Yeah. Some were abusing it.. I mean, the Timbits mean NOTHING.. so I don't get the "greed" for fake Timbits?

Coming from one of the guys who had too many to point of beeing constipated, I agree.
However I will at any time, give up Timbits if that could bring back my beloved chatroom.

i just gave timbits to people i thought posted good customs or a small group of people i like and have helped me out.

Personally I thought the Timbits might make people feel good and I like to make people happy, so I always gave out my daily allowance just to make them smile. I'll admit I sent a bunch at Latin Joe as a joke, but some days there was hardly any conversation so if I saw people posting I gave them a Timbit. I thought it might encourage others to post more. At it's core it's just a silly function that really didn't mean anything, sort of like the "like" feature on facebook. To me it was as relevant as the emoticions and I use one of those almost every post as well. ;)
