Good, I have not watched it yet.

There is not a frame of that movie I would call triumphant. But best you judge it for yourself.

I wonder if they'll make a french dub for the french teletoon we have here...
"Oh non Duke, Destro est l?!!"
"Bordel de non d'une pipe!"
-
I haven't seen a french copy come through yet but if i do, i'll let you know. Usually, with "new" english movies that we run, we don't get the french version....
Very interesting info Pete...you'd think those of us in teletoon operations would get that kind of info too. ;)
-
I really doubt that they'll be a dub since the movie probably didn't came out in France (I think Joe isn't very strong over there)
When it came out on dvd it didn't have a french track nor a french sub...
Its probably for the best...

The power of google.ca my friend. I just did a quick search and found that link.

Bump,
It's on this weekend.

Fantasy: W00T. My girlfriend is crashing tonight so I'll get her to watch it with me at 10am tomorrow.
Reality: I won't be able to catch it. :(

I think that movie was the best...you guys need to watch it with some kids that is all!
My oldest two boys loved every second of it...and I thought it was not bad at all. I guess this is why the line has been shut down...no support...and what I mean by this is a bunch of old ?fuddy dudys? (myself included if you will) have a hard time collecting and watching children?s toys and cartoons. To many complaints, and not enough acceptance for what the stuff is?a boys toy.
I bought the movie as soon as it came out. Really it was not just for me alone, my kids love VvV. They want all the figures and because there is two of them they can not make enough repaints and so on?sharing is tough at their young age. So bring on Sigma six?that?s all these guys are talking about now?!

I enjoyed it too. Heck I still watch the saturday cartoons :) I'm a kid at heart so that's what allowed me to enjoy it. I have to admit that I still enjoy all those crazy ninja movies from the 80's which inspired hours of joe play afterward.
Speaking of sigma six, the figures are planned for a may release!?! Seems so soon.

I have not watched it so I don't have a comment on it.
As for Spy Troops I thought it was good. I put myself into a kid mindset to watch it, not as a collector.
-
I thought VvV was good, not great - but as good if not better than most of orginal cartoons - story wise.
-
The VvV movie had a great story line to it. I enjoyed it more than the Spy Troops as it had more characters in it. Great to finally see the new sculps characters have some personalities attached to them.
The only problem with the movie...short term thinking. The whole VvV story was wrapped up in the movie, which means you could never do a weekly cartoon series like Transformers Energon. This means to me Hasbro never had any intentions of making a weekly cartoon series to support the 3 3/4 line. Even a one year of VvV based cartoons would have a bigger impact as your constantly drilling home the message of GI JOE to kids. It worked for me watching them on WUTV Fox 29. I am afraid that may work for Sigma Six (but only if the toys were cheaper).

I will wait until Walmart has the Sigma Six Joes on the pegs before I beleave the 15 U.S. per figure idea...it just does not make sense to push a new toy line for that price...! You woulkd think a price befoe taxes below 10 would do it...?
