Due to the obvious cost to mike, and the lack of sellers, I have questions for all planning to attend:
Who is willing to pay an entry fee in order to get in?
How much are you willing to pay?
Can anyone suggest a cheap and easy to produce premium that can be offered to those wiling to pay?

My answers to my own questions:
Who is willing to pay an entry fee in order to get in?
- I am, as long as it isn't too steep.
How much are you willing to pay?
- $5 to $10 no problem. $15 if there is food or some sort of premium.

- How about getting loop to do up, and mike to print a "JoeCanuck the Movie" poster.

I'm 'considering' something for an 'exclusive' for ONLY those that attend.
It would be included with the admission (should we have one).
Nothing major, but whatever I decide on there WILL be something extra to go with it.
:-)

PS - $5.00 a person would be the MOST I think.
Let's say 20-30 people came, at $5.00 each, we'd be looking at $100-$150.00 - and that should cover the hall - or most of it. :-)

An EXCLUSIVE, eh? A lock of Pete The Greek's hair should do just fine to satisfy the customers.

Packed in a bag with a 'new' filecard and an Agrent Faces fig and we're all set!

Interesting idea....

I wouldn't be opposed to paying $5 to $10 admission

- Same range as Raptor. Between gas and hotel this is a few hundred dollar trip. I'm more than willing to throw an extra 10 bones Mike's way.

- Raptor and I were suggesting we make custom TCG cards of Raptor and Back-Stop for use in our own decks. While we're at it, we could mock-up a JoeCanuck custom card based on Loop's art.

To hell with it.
Raptor mentioned the JoeCanuck card already.
THAT is what I'm working on - almost done as well.
They'll be handed out to each person that comes to the meet (if you want one that is).
Of course, the card WILL be allowed to be used in any games you folks will be playing.... mind you, there might be a 'Cobra' version as well.

I believe that this is why Mike was kicked out of CSIS.

CSIS: Canadian Something or other...
I hope it will be a balanced card. And most snow troops tend to have the Resourceful ability, if that info's of any use to you.
-
What the heck is CSIS and why was I kicked out?
-
Just think of CSIS as a canadian version SHIELD... just with 1/1000th the budget.
Ok I've let my inner geek out .. *sigh*
Isn't CSIS our craptacular version of the FBI??
-
CSIS (http://http://www.csis-scrs.gc.ca/eng/menu/welcome_e.html) = Canadian Security Intelligence Service
-
I thought CSIS was the Canadian CIA. Whatever...

My boss is really starting to wonder about me because I laughed out loud at the computer after reading that...
I don't mind paying $10 or so. Good times don't come cheap!
