Title: Asking Ontario a favour

Tina (Tank-Girl to some, a rare Joe Canuck member who has posted as many messages as she has attended BHT meets) and I are going on a road trip to Canada's Wonderland next weekend. The plan is to leave Montreal Saturday at 5pm, when I'm done work, drive to Kingston, where we'll crash for the night, then get up early Sunday morning and finish the ride to Toronto, where we'll stay the night and leave Monday afternoon.

We were wondering if anyone could spot us a spare bed, or even a spot in their backyard to pitch a tent. We're thrifty, and hope to keep the cost of this trip as low as possible. We're willing to treat whoever helps us out to breakfast or supper (Tina's itching to hit an Olive Garden Sunday night).

I am off on vacation that week, even though it's an "Al Bundy" vacation. I will get back to you later in the week on this.  I am 20 minutes east of Toronto in Oshawa.

Argh...I'll be in Chicago that whole time for Chicago Wizard World. But it would have been convenient, since I live in Mississauga, just 25  minutes away from the park. Sorry dude.

Do you two still need a place to stay? You can crash on my Toy Room floor..... as long as you don't play with the toys. :-)


...and as long as Denise says it's ok.... and as long as we don't have plans.

Thanks a lot for all the support, guys. We're going to be crashing in Raptor's nest on Sunday night. Although that offer to sleep in your toy room was damn tempting, Mike.

We're going to do lunch on Monday before we leave for home, if anyone cares to join us. Probably best if you get in touch with Charles about it, but the plan is to hit Olive Garden.
