Title: Cobra Night watch arrived today
Post by: morgardee on August 31, 2005, 01:54:24 PM
Got my order of Night Watch figures today from GIJOEHQ today. Man it's fun to get 4 sets of those guys and open 3 of them up right away and start setting them up in formation. I like these guys. Sure, would have been cool to see them in the new head molds, but still pretty fun.

Only down side is the packages were in a box that was a little to small so my MOC set is sitting on a table with books on it to correct the bend the top of the card got. Small price to pay in the big picture I guess.

Still, really cool figures.

Duty???

In my best Peter Griffon voice "Heeheeheehee you said duty!"

Nope, no duty taxes. Just a big old box wedged in between the storm door and front door. Curt is awesome for that. He knows how to ship it so you avoid duty taxes. That is one of the main reasons I drop so much money on his web site. That and shipping costs are included.

No worries Curt. The books on the package seems to have fixed the package.

Ditto for me as well. I got my set a week or so ago.  Very impressed with the figures.   I would army build them but I went nuts last year on some other figures.  :shifty:

I'm also a big fan of the Night Watch pack. The colours are sharp, and aren't just appropriate for night ops. Especially like the officer in dark blue. The purple chevrons are a bit different, but he really stands out as the authority.

So Pete, you're finally letting glimses of your collection out. Is that your full set of blue shirts and new CGs, or just the ones you couldn't fit on your other display shelves?  :D

Those are only the new figures.  My vintage ones are not included in that set up.

And if I had another display shelf, I would need some mental help.
