I guess it was time to renew my membership anyhow, so I have one coming.

I was looking around on ebay and I found this:

It's a version 1 Eel MOC with a grade of 90 for the low low price of $1,199.99. Now I know some people are sucker but c'mon. $2,000.00 for an Eel with a nice package? Stuff like this really bugs me. That's why I've never bought from them and never will. They stick it to the guys who don't know better. Sure, buyer beware, but I'm sure I could con some old ladies living on a fixed retirement income out of their money to buy a vacuum cleaner. This to me is just as sleazy. Just because someone might pay that much, doesn't mean they should, or that it's fair take that much money.

Charging Twenty to a hunderish for a carded figure is alright, but when it costs more than two months of my mortgage, that's freaking crazy, in my opinion.

Anyhow, now that I've ranted I feel better now.

Thinking of Pete when I post this. I saw some Hockey Figure at Giant Tiger yesterday for around $9.97 or so. They had one Leafs figure, but I forgot who it is but at the time I read the name I thought "I've heard that name before".

When G.I.Joe HQ first put up their wave 1 DTC figures I placed an order for one of everything. Then after seeing the cobra night watch 6 pack pictures from the con I ordered 2 more sets, then I decided I want to have a set of "opener" figures and a set MOC, so I placed another order for one of everything except the humvee and one more cobra medic viper. I figured I could wait on buying 2 more crimson guards for later, maybe smalljoes. I just saw the price of them at smalljoes and they are $9.99 each.  :shock:  G.I.JoeHQ is out of stock now.

I like Corey but to be honest I can go to master collector and but the Crimson guard/ Cobra medic viper 2 pack for $10.00.

Does anyone know of any other on line stores selling the Crimson Guard figures for a fair price, or should I just get a few more medics?

Anyone know if anyone is casting these? I need 5 of them.

Last night I was looking at the MC groups Botcon Convention Brochure and I noticed that they used last years photo from Disney land. I saw myself and Pete the Greek at the very front on the picture along with a whole lotta other guys.
I know it's the MC group and all but using pictures from G.I.Joe and using it for a Transformers convention seems a bit shady.
