I thought name tags were a great idea and even todl Scramble so.

However, no one else wanted to wear them - so it became optional.

No one wore them.

How come I can show up to an event and yet miss so much?

I had no idea about the name tags at the last Joe...shows you how much attention I pay. Too busy with beer and pepperettes...

Time to give them an ass kicking then Mike.  

GI Joe: Tough one...I love the Tomahawk and Dragonfly helicopters too much to decide, so they both come in first. Next favorite is the new Snowcat.

Cobra: Firebat, hands down. I had mail-way one from Hasbro Canada years ago, along with a completely mint AVAC, but I sold them to MUNDO for college money. The Wolf is second, I used it for everything when I was a kid. I'd love to say my favourite is the Moray, but I've naver had the privilege of owning one...and in my financial state, it might take a while.  :?

2 years ago in Jamaica, standing in line for my food I leaned over and told someone their food was ready. The Jamaican girl/cook behind the counter and said something along the lines of "Thank you. That was nice of you. Are you Canadian?"

I've had the same happen to me in Scotland. I went into a pub and they asked me if I was American. I said, "Nope, I'm from Canada." They bought me beer for the entire night! When I asked them what they would have done if I was American, they replied, "We would have thrown you out."

Back on topic: Does anyone remember Towers? The one in Hamilton was always packed with new and old GI Joe items.

Well dudes, I checked out Odyssey 2000 today, and it's a nice shop! The manager was named John and he was a cool guy. We talked about comics a bit and I tolded him what I did for living, which made him laugh. He had a small selection of Joes, a smaller selection of vintage Star Wars, but he had a TON of gaming stuff (which I'm not into except for the Heroclix). He also had the new Marvel Legends...I know where I'm buying mine from now on once the cash flow gets better...(sorry Mike).

I gave him the URL for joecanuck.com and told him to check it out. He was pretty interested on seeing why we were talking about him  :lol:

I picked up a Tracks just for the hell of saying I own one. I haven't even opened him yet, but that's what Sundays are for!
