Slaughters marauders pack would be cool

Hmm...

Slaughter - Check
Low light (By that point) - Check
Barbecue - Check
Spirit - Check
Mutt - Check

The only one missing as far as existing tooling is a good representation of ARAH Footlose

They can even throw in the Renegades as well.  Im sure many people would love a Mercer

Yes!!! -- I want a 25th-style Mercer, along with Taurus and Red Dog. And a new Warthog would be awesome! But I want the Triple-T version of the Sarge. Go Hasbro!

October Guard using 25th molds.

I second the Oktober Guard. Plus I want Slaughter's Renegades -- Mercer, Red Dog and Taurus, as well as a Sarge figure that everyone can afford to get.
As for vehicles, how about a DEMON for Destro's army?

Yeah, it was a little rough, I ended up with a sore throat the next day which I still have.  It was cold for shorts and a thin T-shirt.  7 hours.  But looking back, it was one of my favorite parts!

You weren't in sunny Florida anymore, Dorothy.  8) But seriously, I really enjoyed the line and making so many new friends like you Turner. It set the tone for a really nice convention experience. I really hope I can make it back next year.

:o 800$!! cool.. a profit of 650$.. not bad at all!

$800???? Wow. I wish I had known that. I would have dragged my whole family, including grandma, to the con and bought a bunch of sets. Oh wait, someone else already did that.  ;D

This had to be my favorite part of the Joe Con this year. The Zartan PSA was really damn funny along with so many of his stories.

Is this going to be posted on youtube at all?

It really was a pleasure to meet Zach and hear him share his stories about working on the GI Joe cartoon. Zach IS Zartan to us fans. He created the voice and persona that we all associate with Mr. Z, and what a great job he did. It was so cool to hear him do the PSA. I wish I would have thought to get a recording. I strongly urge The Mike to consider booking more voice actors like Zach for future conventions. It's too bad Mary was unable to attend, but Zach easily picked up the slack and I honestly could have listened to him for hours more.

I took the new CC figure to the con and traded it, along with a new Spirit and Quick Kick and a Destro  comic pack for the GI Joe Resolute set. I got what I wanted and only paid half the price. If I see another CC, I might buy it, but I might not. The card is nice, but I open my figures, so a carded figure doesn't do too much for me. But that unopened Sgt Slaughter on my shelf is driving me nuts.

BTW -- it was great talking to you guys at the con.

Hey Roger, I just want to know if the trade was made with a seller? If yes I think I'm the new owner of this figure!  ;D
Btw I love that version of CC..
Yes, the trade was made to a seller. He had what I wanted, and I made the trade around 3 p.m. No money changed hands. I'm glad you got what you wanted too.

Ahem.. rhum and coke in fact..  :shifty:
It was nice to meet you btw.. the line was one of my favorite part of the event too!

Shhh! I was trying to be discreet about that. But seriously, you guys were very cool and I enjoyed talking to you.

The first ARAH Joe I ever got was Airborne, so he remains a favorite of mine. He had the coolest uniform and accessories I had ever seen so I bought him ever though I was in college at the time. Thus began a long and expensive journey that continues to this day. (sigh)
But I'd have to go with Snake Eyes (v 2) as my all-time favorite figure.

Turner -- You must be going crazy with anticipation about next year's convention being in Orlando. I hope you can attend it so I can live vicariously through you.

i wonder if that was my maggot driver you bought?
[/quote]

If it was, then I thank you sir. He looks great sitting in the Maggot. If you have the antenna, I'll gladly pay you the postage to mail it to me. LOL
I'd have to say that all of the dealers I talked to were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you to all.

Mary -- Of course we missed seeing you at the con, but your post here is perhaps the next best thing. I look forward to hearing your stories at a future convention. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful character to life. I still refer to my wife (her name is Janice) as Lady Jaye. You and the rest of the voice actors for GI Joe have forever earned a place in our hearts. Thanks again!

PS - If anyone has extra trading cards for Mary, I'd like 1 too. I didn't know they were being distributed and didn't get one. :v(
