Ahh the memories.
« on: August 02, 2009, 07:37:09 AM »

Just sitting here eating some cereal watching gi Joe on tv (teletoon retro).  So sweet!!!

I've noticed that the show was very up to date with technology and mentioned a lot of things that have come into mainstream today.  Also there were a lot of little mentions/scenarios that were more "adult" than we would see then.

what's with all the sound effects from Star Wars and Star Trek, that's kinda cool.

Wow I remember this being way cooler back in the day. Still love Cobra Commanders voice though.
I have to spend some parts of today watching a few episodes.

oh yeah, I still really dislike Duke, he has way to much exposure.

General Hawk: Technically, G.I. Joe does not exist, but if it did, it\'d be comprised of the top men and women from the top military units in the world, the alpha dog\'s. When all else fails, we don\'t.

I felt the same way!  They were actually better than I thought they'd be when I saw them again.
