Anyhow, just not to trail off the subject: I did find that Zeller's 25% off sale helped to get the Serpents at a decent price.
If you think about it without looking at the U.S. price for once, 22.50$ for a nice Viper with three weapons and a backpack, worth let's say 7.50$ in the whole deal, leaving the Serpent at 15$ before tax, is a good treat.
While some might've been outraged at the initial mark-up, we were given the chance to get them at a fair price during the promotion. If you didn't chance at them for your reasons, well, that was your own right and I can't blame you...more for me!

All I can foresee is that even if we don't complain about the prices, if the sales numbers don't do justice to what was projected by the companies, we can expect the prices to change in the future, or....not get as much exclusive merchandise, nor get better prices. Let's not forget what the traditionnal meaning of "EXCLUSIVE" stands for: Only sold at this store, and/or available for a unique market. It is not really clear for me who exactly is the targetted market for these Joe exclusive items, but I can take a blind guess that it won't be really parents shopping for their kids around the Holidays. But we can think that studies had to be done to some extent to observe the canadian collector market, and that these studies will follow how we behave as an evolving market in the future, so that it may meet our demands and supply us in the best way. We are the ones who asked for in store exclusives in the first place, so let us not forget this.
We did receive Target exclusives to stores in Canada after all, and I find that this was the first step towards a bigger tomorrow.
