Anyone going to the Con (May 2) in Hamilton?
« on: March 03, 2009, 09:16:01 PM »

Like the title says... and I have a car. But a 7 hours driving is too much. So if you can drive few hours (and have your car license  :P) and you are willing to split gas, PM me.

I'm in Montreal area.

I would've liked to have gone, but I'm in Edmonton and the cheapest round trip flight I could find is around ~$500.

That's just too much for me to justify when I don't have any other reason to go to Hamilton other than a 1-day convention.   :(

I understand. That is why I'm planning to bring some GI Joe fans in my car to Hamilton so we can split expenses. It can be Win-Win.

The drive's not that bad...  I'm about an hour west of Montreal and drive down to London a few times a year.  Once you get past Kingston, it's a breeze...  but for some reason, the stretch between Cornwall and Kingston is just so boring!  The drive itself is easy enough to do in about 5 hours.

Not sure if I'm going, yet - but if I do, I'll keep your offer in mind.

And Madman is not the only guy mad about the JoeCon this year. It feels just like my first one all over again! I have a feeling that this year is going to be an exceptional one. I really am counting down the days, it's that insane.

Absolutely classic latinjoe!!...Sounds like you're cutting a promo from an 80s survivor series...Macho Man with team madness going to bring it!!!!

Mike I'm totally psyched to finally be able to attend the Canadian Joe Con. I've really wanted to attend the last couple years, but something always came up. I've been to a couple of MC "cons"  :shifty: , but from what I've seen/read over the last couple years, this is truely a fun experience for joe fans. I can definitely appreciate the hard work put into the event (and past ones as well).

What's even better is that I get to travel to Hamilton with some great peeps who are also joe fans.

Can't wait.
