there are 2 comics in the gi joe infestation.
but there is a infestation comic 2 part series for the intro and outro to the story
and 2 parts each for the transformers, ghostbusters and star trek stories. so 10 comics all together.

That is sweet so I can pick the entire series for the GI Joe portion in 2 books.

Do these link together? I can see G.I. Joe, Transformer and even Ghost Busters link up, but Star Trek? Unless there is another time warp story, I don't see it.

Going off topic a bit, anyone else here watch Star Gate Universe? If so, have you seen this weeks episode? It was probably the most interesting time travel episodes I've ever seen, for all sci-fi. I won't ruin it if you watch it Friday nights, but they did not follow the usual mold that most shows use, and I enjoyed a fresh approach to it.

Shame the show got cancelled.

They tried to be too much like BSG (Battle Star Galactica) whether it was intentional or not, and it failed with the Audience.

I hope they bring back SG1,  That was the best of the 3 series.

However, chrome snake in your sig! I was wanting to do that (bought a roc snake for that very thing)

Spoilers for 164:

Apparently Larry Hama addressed the sneak peek error on his facebook page. This was posted on the boards at joreloaded.com:

Larry Hama: "I was never big on continuity or plot. The whole RAH storyline was retcon in motion."

So the sneak peek error was Larry Hama's. IDW should have caught it, but man, that's a bit of a gaff. Hama's comment shouldn't be much of a suprise for most fans, as he's said as much about his writing philosophy in the past, but there's a difference between not being big on continuity and bringing a character back from the dead.

Oh well. I'm just waiting for the brainwave scanner junk to end, and hopefully move on to something different.

At first I was stoked about the return of the original run but when I heard a lot of the plot was going to revolve around the Brainwave scanner I was very disappointed.  I'm a huge Larry Hama fan but in my opinion this story line is a lazy way to explain certain character's motivations rather than delve deeper into the characters themselves.  It's easy to say this person is doing bad things or that person is conflicted all because of the brainwave scanner.
I feel Larry is more creative than that maybe he didn't have time to explore other things that happened in the original run to create a more appealing story.
Because of this I have yet to buy an issue.  Maybe when the storyline changes.

I was surprised to see Sneak Peek in the comic.  When I read it, I said  ??? out loud.  I had accepted the fact that SP was dead.  I didn't have an issue with DDP introducing a new SP who went undercover in the Dreadnok camp.

I didn't like that SP has been brought back because I thought this was going to continue the original run.  But... maybe we will see the return of the other dead Joes like Breaker, Doc and Thunder.

OR... Maybe it was Sneak Peek's zombie, since IDW is doing Infestation right now

I just hope the brainwave scanner story is done soon.  ARAH is just getting boring.  I prefer Chuck Dixon's run on the other storyline right now.
