I love austria!
Did you see the Ubermench, Uberfraulines and Uberkinder leaping up sharp inclines without breaking a sweat? Sip coffee in the old ring in Wien? Eat meals based mostly on butter and meat? Wait up tp an hour for the waiter to deliver the cheque? See inexplicably civilized dogs walking around town without a need for owners? Drink a beer mixed with sprite?
I love Austria. I ate at a restaurant that had the same menu since 1640. Nothing like it anywhere else I've ever been.

Austria was zuper! I spent eight days in Wien and a day in Graz. Wien was just awesome! I'd spend the days walking around the town, through the markt place in the "old ring", looking for anything 1:'18 scale at toy/comic stores, I won a 100 Euros at the casino. I ate like a king for dinner each night. Food was delish.
But hands down...it can't be compared to Venice! Was there for about 4 days. There are no cars/bikes/motorbikes. You had to travel by foot...or gondolas. The whole town was like a maze filled with alleyways of all sizes. It was great getting lost there and trying to find my way back to the hotel without a map.
I'll post pics on my blog later this week. Especially some of the stuff I bought there...1:18 Vespas, styrofoam brick walls and roads, smart car....
