Does anyone know what "marcified" means?

Ok, so every once in awhile when I am driving to work I happen to see this local potato chip van driving around town. On the van it says that the chips are "marcified". It always made me think what the heck does "marcified" mean. Then as usual I get busy and never bother to look it up in the dictionary.

Anyhoos, for some reason I thought about it this morning and looked it up in 3 online dictionaries and all of them say there is no such word as marcified. Has anyone ever heard of this term? Is it some made up word by some crazy potato chip people here in the US? Now, it is driving me crazy and I can't remember the name of this chip company to look up their website to see if they have an answer.  >:(

I know, I know....if I have time to obsess about some potato chip term then I have too much time on my hands... :lol:

Are you sure you have the word right? Just curious because Google spits out for "marcified chips" 0 results and asks if I meant to search for "mortified" chips

Ok, I am not a blonde, but I totally feel like one right now. 

After BludChylde mentioned that I might have the wrong word I looked into it further.

The word is actually marcelled. It means "to wave"....as in wavy potato chips.

I have no clue where I came up with marcified. Since it is not a real word I am hereby defining it as making a complete ass of one's self.

Yeah.....I totally marcified myself in this post.  :-[

I dunno, real word or not, I like the sound of marcified, it has a cool ring to it.

maybe I'll just start throwing it into random sentences...
