More Jays Talk - Carlos Delgado

Is it wise for JP to wait 'till the end of the season to re-sign Delgado?

1) He'll find out how good Hinske and Phelps are before committing to Carlos.
2) He'll get one more "contract year" out of Carlos.
3) He'll have more time to convince upper-management to raise the payroll if the team performs thisyear.

But...

1) Once Delgado comes to close to free agency, he'll probably want to try it
2) If the Jays don't play so well, Carlos is trade bait!!!
3) This might become a year-long distraction

Any thoughts?

^Jon

Easier question...

What are people's thoughts on the new uniforms?

The uniforms are horrible.  Bring back the baby blue.  :D

Their uniforms remind me of the Colorado Rockies. Bring back the blue and white!
