I'd prefer someplace easily accessible by bus or subway,  but I guess even in Toronto getting anywhere by transit is slow anyway.

Yeah it's a shame.  I know Toronto is too expensive for a small con.  It would take a large turn out that you probably wouldn't get to offset the cost.

However, I do have to say that putting it in NF doesn't seem like a good idea.  I'm not sure getting even farther away from the 5th largest city in North America is the best idea.

I didn't get to go last year because I had to work. Hamilton is so close that it would be awesome if it was held there again. I will go regardless this year though

Hey Carl, if it's in Hamilton, The Falls, Burlington, or Oakville - any of those should be close enough as well! It's a Canadian GI Joe Convention! The only one in all of Canada! If it's within an 8 hour drive, you should go anyway!  :lol:

I think Burlington would be good. If not Burlington, I would say Hamilton then. Also what about turning it into a 2 day event with speakers and workshops on the SAturday. On Sunday there could be some more workshops, maybe cutomizing,care & protecting, diorama's and so on. Also each day could have time for buying, selling and trading. Tickets could be sold before hand to try and cover some costs to make it better. Just an idea.

rentyn  this will be the first official con i can see the 2day thing happen in 2yrs but right now i like how much it has grown. 1step at atime. 2yrs ago was my first meet and man it grew so much in a yr that i think every YR it will get huge and give the US con a run for there money.

So mike any updates? I hope it is still in the falls as i know me & NFC will have a bunch of ppl that will stay with us to hope over the boarder for the meet. that is if it is still in the falls. it will be a great trip for us. as we wont have to get up so early this time lol.
