Alright, maybe I`ll go see. Thanks for the info. So what is the main appeal of these things; are their good prices or is it the variety or something else?
For me, it's more of the experience. There's a lot to see, including things like Qu?LUG's display [Quebec Lego club], the costuming, customs, and of course, the room FULL OF TOYS! You can find a lot of different things there from all sorts of different series and years (some guys have buckets of assorted loose figures).
I guess with the internet, this sorta thing might feel a bit redundant since you can just buy whatever you want online and have it shipped to your door. But, I really enjoy the fun of lining up for the ToyCon, browsing all of the great things that people are selling, rummaging through the boxes of comics, and meeting people/running into people you know. Isn't that right, latinjoe22?
