I just received this email from Hasbro Canada, so I thought I should spread the word!

Thought I would let you know that starting today, Zellers will be doing a 50% off in store promo of most GI Joe The Rise Of Cobra toys.  I don’t have information on duration, but likely one week.

There you have it. 50% off most Rise Of Cobra toys at Zellers starting today! As they say, the duration is unknown, so get to your Zellers while the getting is good!

Thanks for the heads up!   I stopped by a local Zellers last night and snagged the following:
- a Night Raven for $20.  (can't believe I bought one)
- three alpha vehicles for $10 each (snake trax, rockslide and skysweeper)
- another green Nano-viper $5.

Not bad.  Not bad.  I had the mobile pit HQ in my hands ($70), but still couldn't do it.  Partly 'cause my wife would likely kill me, but also because part of me wants to hold out and see if they go into further clearance.

Do you have a winners nerby? $39!

Almost bought it, but dropped it on the way to the cash. Where do I put the damned thing?

I bought one from Walmart for $50.00. Opened it enough to get the figure out and then put it in the attic.

I went to my local Zellers and found several Joes but no 50% sale advertisement in sight at first. It's only when I took the Night Raven to the Price check scanner that I realized they were indeed discounted. So If you walk into a Zellers and the sale isn't announced, don't forget to scan the items before you leave the store  :wink:.

Mine's all assembled, though. I don't think I can fit it back in its box.
If I could I could just slide it under my bed.

Is the Target stuff like Serpent Armor and others deluxe pack are still at regular prices?  At 29.99$, no ones will ever buy them!

At some point in the last year, they were marked down to $9.99. I have no clue when - but they were.

I have an extra one and I went to return it, they said the lowest price was $9.99 - good thing I had a receipt! :-)

I asked when it was on sale for that price - she told me sometime in the last year since the lowest sale price is always the default price given unless you have a receipt.

Yes the "Target" stuff isn't part of the 50% sale, even after scanning them at three different stores.

Too bad!  My zellers store have full of them.  Maybe i will grab some vehicles.  10$ is not so bad but i think they only have wave 1 vehicles.  I will check later this afternoon.
