Would it be ok to bring a couple items for trade like the cobra island 7 packs?
Yes
Would there be a hassle at the border bringing stuff in? I've only been out of the u.s. once and that was pre 911.
I suggest you print out the INFO package (in this thread) and bring a list of what you are bringing to trade. The border is iffy at times. Nova and Lance had a problem last year - and they never had a problem before. So... that's all I can recommend.
I could have gone to Rhode Island this year, or the last San Diego Comic Con, but honestly I'm way more interested in what you guys are doing!
woo! Thanks!
Since you are opening the door... What is this year exclusive set?
It contains 3 figures, a comic, and 1 vehicle.... maybe 2.
And that's ALL I'm sharing right now.
I saw the direction from Montreal... "take the 540 South..."
I will be going West, and not sure what the 540 is...
Not being from Montreal, and having only been there 4 or 5 times in my life. I used Google to tell me the best way to get to Toronto. You guys can figure it out, I'm sure - you made it to Hamilton last year after all, and this is closer for you! :-)
Last year there was a trading table where people could trade. I didn't see it advertised this year. Is it going to have one?
To be fair with dealers (who purchased the right to sell by getting a table) I'm assuming this year policy will be the same as previous years: Only trading allowed (no selling).[/quote]
Yes, on both counts. A schedule of the CanJoeCon events isn't fully hammered out yet. There "might" be something planned for Friday night as well. More news to come later. ;-)
