Those of you paying attention to our Facebook Event page for the Convention, LARRY HAMA is now officially confirmed to attend the 2010 Canadian Joe Con! This makes for a total of SIX guests attending CanJoeCon this year! The most guests we've ever had!

Larry Hama is a writer/cartoonist/illustrator/actor/musician who has worked in comics, tv and film. He is best known as the writer of Marvel’s “GI Joe” comics in the ‘eighties, and as the writer of Marvel’s “Wolverine” in the ‘nineties. More recently he has scripted “SPOOKS,” and “Barack the Barbarian” for Devil’s Due Comics and “GI JOE ORIGINS” for IDW as well as various animation and video game projects.
He has written, edited or drawn for such titles as Avengers, Blaze, Nth Man, The Nam, Conan, Batman, Wonder Woman, Bizarre Adventures, X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil, and dozens more. His illustrations and cartoons have appeared in National Lampoon, Esquire, New York and Rolling Stone.
Larry will be signing autographs, meeting the fans and partaking in a Q&A session at the event.

Mary McDonald-Lewis has been a voice actor since 1980. She’s voiced thousands of commercials: Kelloggs, Bank of America, Swansons, Purex, Sizzler Restaurants, Toyota, American Express, Southwest Airlines, Mazda, Bon Marche, PacTel, Hefty... Has starred and appeared in hundreds of cartoon episodes, besides the obvious one here : LADY JAYE. She’s also voiced Lois Lane in Superfriends; Maven in Batman The Animated Series; Princess Goleeta in Galtar and the Golden Lance; Myke in Sherlock Holmes in the Twenty First Century; The Mask, Prince Valiant, Where’s Waldo... Has put her pipes to promos for Disney, ABC, UPN... Has looped, dubbed, and done countless industrials. She’s also “Mary,” the voice of OnStar, General Motors’ navigation system, heard in millions of cars.

Zach Hoffman has been making a living standing in front of a microphone for over 30 years. His humble beginnings as a voiceover artist was dubbing Spanish soap operas into English. He logged hundreds of hours at Paramount Recording Studios on Santa Monica Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood. His first real break came when Rudy Ferer had him audition for the dubbing of Ingmar Bergman’s “Fanny and Alexander”. From there Zack moved on to becoming the voice of Zartan on the original GI Joe cartoon series, and has never looked back.
