The Banshee and her Pilot is a stealth capable Air to Ground attack unit. Here are screen shots of them.

Before I show the finished product, a bit about the custom itself. It took about 2 week to do and was my first custom Vehicle ever and I learned a lot from doing it. I am pretty happy at how it turned out, the only question I still was asking myself to make it perfect was if I should weather it abit, or go with the cleaner paint, I went with the clean look. The Banshee screamed Cobra to me, so I affiliated it with them. The idea came about when I bought a POC Hiss, I thought it was ok, but when I looked at it closer I though it was pretty close to a Banshees body. Saw an Avatar Helo on sale at a toy store and the rest worked it self into this. Not to mention I also Love Starcraft, so a lot of love went into this.
The parts list for the Banshee:
Rotors - Avatar Aircraft
Missile Pods - From BBI Littlebird, with sculpting
Main Chassis - POC Hiss Tank
Decals - various 25th,POC and ROC vehicle decals
Parts for pilot:
Body arms and legs - ROC Reactive suit scarlett (the Body was almost EXACTLY like the Banshee Pilots). Tubes attached with epoxy.
Head - ROC Covergirl, modified/sculpted with 25th Pilot Scarlett helm. Sculpted pony tail.
Dry brushed black on to the light greys to sort of match the original ROC paint scheme.
Process:
I had to epoxy the Rotors onto the Hisstank chassis. This was actually pretty difficult and had challenges in both aligning the rotors for symmetry and then sanding/hiding the epoxy (Which I used duct tape to cover the sanded down parts and then painted, worked out well).
The Missile Pods I also epoxied on, was much easier to align and attach then the rotors since they just hang.
I hand painted the whole vehicle with a brush and that took a while to do, in hindsight I probably should have spray painted it or airbrushed it(if I could get one). And then put on the decals and painted the red parts and black onto the canopy. All in all I had a blast doing this and am very please at how it came out.
I split up the photos into inside and outside as the lighting tended to be different. Also note that technically the banshee should be "leaning" forward when in the air so the gun and missile pods face down at an angle, its just sitting it on a flat surface made that impossible.
