TARGAT Backpack question

Anyone know how to crack one open? Only I've just got a second TARGAT I bought on eBay and the wings are a bit buggered, they don't stick out the same way and I wondered if there was a way to repair it.

someone on Hiss Tank told me to try soaking it in warm soapy water and then pry it apart with a screwdriver. Been too busy to try yet though.

Sounds like the same advice to crack open a Zartan, Zandar or Zarana. Must be glued.

there's a peg at the bottom inside, that you can see when the wings are apart.
