Just picked up 3 of the Transformer Alternators:

Sideswipe
Hound
Silverstreak

all For $9.97 each.

TF Energon (the small ones) were clearanced at 4 bucks.

:shock: But these means a very slim chance of getting other new TF alternators in this country if they didn't sell the first time around.

These vehicles are great next to Optimus Prime you have.

I don't know Pete... this is 1 store clearancing them - a grocery store at that.

If WalMart or TRU were doing it, I'd be inclined to agree... but I was at WalMart tonight and the same TFs were still 29.98

On a side note, what other Alternators are available in Canada?  :shifty:

I have only found 6 in Canada, the three you mentioned plus Dead End, Smokescreen and Tracks.

It's only a matter time before TRU and Wally blow out the remaining Alternators as they are collecting dust.

I picked up my one and only alternator (silverstreak) there. he was $20 at the time. Also picked up a hound, but I actually didn't like it at all and returned it. I think it might have been gimped.

The Vansickle (sp?) GCS is also the one that were blowing out all the BTR sets at $2-$8. I've also seen Bionicle tubes there for like $3. When they decide to clear something out they have great prices.

I bought Swindle, Windcharger and Ravage in Buffalo yesterday.  I really doubt we'll see past Meister in Canada.  In fact, I missed Meister anyway when the one-box-per-store shipment arrived 6 months ago.  Managed to get Tracks then though, which was cool.  Even in the US the earlier waves are clogging the aisles.  It's too bad, really - the later Alternators are pretty cool despite being mostly repaints.

I didn't find any of the other past the first four - wich really sucks as I would have bought them at the drop of a hat.

I will admit to picking the ones I like up when I see them on mega-discount

(20th Prime for $40, Unicron for $20 and now the alternators for $10)

Zehrs is a Loblaws franchise.

So Fortinos, Loblaws, No Frills, independant etc. Basically any store that carries the "President's Choice" brand.
