Sounds to me like it's just a laze issue.  She'd didn't want to have to do the work involved to get it to scan/find the price so she just made something up about a recall.

Hi, just saw some VAMP at WM In st-hyacinthe but when i wanted to pay, it wouldnt scan. And the girl didnt want to sell it to me saying that the company had a recall on those. Anybody heard something about this?

Next time, skip the cashier and go line up with your product in hand at the customer's service counter, they should be able to give you a price. The manager will usually sign off on a price if the item is indeed for sale.

I don't think so,  she talked on the phone, somebody else came and couldn't find the price in the system either, just a message saying that the cie wanted the products to be returned to them and remove from the tablet.

Wow. Really? That is so strange. It makes more sense now that you outlined the details of it. If the company made a recall, then it's possible that is was a bad batch that Walmart received. It could be anything at this point, and I'm sure this will not prevent or affect further POC product from coming here.

Ok guys, a little update. I went back this evening, samething, I was pissed... The vamp was still on the tablet. I went back with the box and with the tag that was on the front Of the tablet, guess what? The lady at the cash sent me back to the toy section to speak to the toy manager And she gave me a price tag printed from her scanner. Long story short, i now am the owner Of a POC vamp w/double clutch

Happy ending

;-)

So much for the recall crap  ;D And good for you! Sometimes it's worth to try at least a second time. Maybe the first time you just went on a day that everyone just too busy (or lazy) to get to the end of the matter and get you a price, and you simply got unlucky.

Massive Clutch fan here.  Congrats!  Enjoy it, and be sure to fill it with female figures, eh?

Walmart St-Leonard had a few POC's : they had the Mechs, a Snowcat and a Hiss. Didn't see the VAMP. Figurewise: 2x Dukes and 2x Storm Shadows.

And for once, I found one shortpacked Cobra Commander which I picked up. Finally, got one. Beeing a chrome fan, this obviously made my day.

Went by Zellers Atwater today. They're moving a lot of stuff around the toy aisle so everything is a mess, but they did have both mechs and two Storm Rider and his bike of doom.

TRU in Lasalle has restocked RoC figures. They seem to be the wave 5 cases. They include City Strike Snake Eyes and Duke, Arctic Threat Storm Shadow, Desert Viper and Jungle Ripcord. Still 2.98$ I picked up a few for myself and grabbed a half dozen random Snake Eyes (I left the CS SE ) and Storm Shadows to donate to Christmas baskets for the holidays.
